Porto is Portugal’s second largest city, located on the country’s west coast. The city is famous for its port wine and the River Douro, which flows into the Atlantic Ocean, but also for one of Portugal’s very best football teams – FC Porto. Porto is less touristy than its big brother Lisbon, yet offers equally colourful architecture, charming cobblestone squares, fantastic culinary experiences, a vibrant nightlife, and a football-loving population that’s second to none.
