The history of Genoa CFC

Founded in 1893, Genoa CFC is Italy’s oldest football club and one of the country’s most historic. The club enjoyed great success in its early years, winning nine league titles between 1898 and 1924. During the 20th century, however, Genoa often competed in Serie B, although they also had spells in Serie A.
