The history of West Ham WFC
West Ham United Women, formerly known as West Ham Ladies, was founded in 1991 and has competed in the Women’s Super League — the top division of women’s football in England — since the 2018–19 season.
The club’s best league finish in the WSL is seventh place, but they achieved an impressive runners-up position in the Women’s FA Cup and won the FA Women’s National League Plate in the 2017–18 season.
